CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 79-225 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING ALLOWING AN ADDITIONAL ONE YEAR TIME <br />EXTENSION FOR COMMENCEMENT OF CONSTRUCTION ON RAP PROJECTS <br />APPROVED IN THE RESIDENTIAL ALLOCATION PROGRAM SELECTION OF <br />JUNE AND NOVEMBER, 1978 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />construction must begin on Residential Allocation approved <br />project within 18 months of approval or development approval <br />will lapse; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />under the Residential Allocation Program ordinance as now <br />written, development approvals will lapse at the following <br />times: <br /> <br />June, 1978, approval <br />November, 1978, approval <br />December, 1979, approval <br /> <br />- Lapses on December 5, 1979 <br />- Lapses on May 28, 1980 <br />- Lapses on June 18, 1981; <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS , <br /> <br />the recent high interest rates and possibly restricted money <br />supply may have a significant impact upon housing generally, <br />as well as the City of Pleasanton; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. Approves allowing an additional one year time extension for <br /> commencement of construction on Residential Allocation Projects <br /> approved in the Residential Allocation Program selection of <br /> June and November, 1978. <br /> <br />Section 2. This resolution shall be effective immediately. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED ON NOVEMBER 13, 1979, BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers Butler, Kephart, Mercer, Wood and Mayor Brandes <br />NOES: None ~ <br /> <br /> n E.'Brown, City Cle k <br />Doris George, Deputy City Clerk <br /> <br />APPROVED AS TO FORM <br /> <br />i City Attorney <br /> <br /> <br />
