CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 79-221 RE: APPROVING A MITIGATED NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR THE APPLICATION OF MESSRS. BOATRIGHT AND GOODRICH FOR DE- VELOPMENT PLAN APPROVAL FOR A 28-UNIT RESIDENTIAL DE- VELOPMENT ON A 74.5 ACRE SITE LOCATED WEST OF FOOTHILL ROAD AND NORTH OF LONGVIEW DRIVE WHEREAS, the City Council, at its meeting of November 13, 1979, received a proposed mitigatednegative declaration for the application of Messrs. Boatright and Goodrich for development plan appro- val for a 28-unit residential development on a 74.5 acre site located west of Foothill Road and north of Longview Drive (hereinafter referred to as the Project); and WHEREAS, staff has determined that the proposed application for development plan approval is a project for the purposes of the California Environmental Quality Act; and WHEREAS, an Initial Study done pursuant to the Environmental Impact Guidelines and Procedures adopted by the City Council of the City of Pleasanton by Resolution No. 77-66 was prepared for the Project; and WHEREAS, the City Council, at its meeting of November 13, 1979, also received that Initial Study dated October 3, 1979; and WHEREAS, each member of the City Council had a copy of Resolution No. 77-66 at the time of considering the proposed mitigated negative declaration and Initial Study; and WHEREAS, the public was afforded an opportunity to coment on the proposed environmental assessment, which had been published in the Pleasanton Times, a newspaper of general circulation; and WHEREAS, the City Council is aware of the provisions of the City's Guidelines and Processing Procedures for the evaluation of projects and preparation of Environmental Impact Report as they pertain to requirements for a mitigatednegative declarationand Environmental Impact Reports. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. III The City Council determines that the proposed development plan for a 28-unit Residential Development on a 74.5 acre site located west of Foothill Road and north of Longview Drive would not have any significant adverse effects on the environ- ment if the 55 conditions attached to this resolution as Ex- hibit A are complied with, and said conditions are hereby made a condition of the approval of a negative declaration for this project.
