CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 79-257 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING A POLICY STATEMENT WITH <br />REGARD TO PROVISION OF HOUSING IN THE CITY OF <br />PLEASANTON <br /> <br />The City Council of the City of Pleasanton resolves to adopt the <br />following policy statement: <br /> <br />The City will consider any and all opportunities <br />to provide housing of all magnitudes~ all prices, <br />without regard to financing or subsidy. The City <br />Council recognizes that adequate housing is a <br />problem in the City and will do whatever it possi- <br />bly can to provide affordable housing to the popu- <br />lace, within our growth rate, RAP plan and other <br />restrictions. <br /> <br />This resolution shall take effect immediately. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED DECEMBER 12, 1979, BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers Butler, Mercer and Wood <br /> <br />NOES: Councilmember Kephart and Mayor Brandes <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None ~~B~N~ES,F~j~,~ <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />Cl~at~on E.
