WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS , <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 79-253 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION DENYING APPLICATION OF IVER HILDE AND WALTER <br />R. WALLNER FOR AN AMENDMENT TO THE GENERAL PLAN WHICH <br />WOULD CHANGE THE LAND USE DESIGNATION OF THE ONE ACRE <br />PARCEL OF LAND ON THE EAST SIDE OF SANTA RITA ROAD IMMEDI- <br />ATELY NORTH OF FIRE STATION FROM "HIGH DENSITY RESIDENTIAL" <br />TO "COMMERCIAL AND OFFICES" <br /> <br />at its meeting of December 11, 1979, the City Council received <br />an application from Iver Hilde and Walter R. Wallner requesting <br />that the City of Pleasanton General Plan be amended to change <br />the land use designation of the one acre parcel of land on the <br />east side of Santa Rita Road immediately north of Fire Station <br />from "High Density Residential" to "Commercial and Offices"; <br /> <br />the City Council at its meeting of December 11, 1979, consider- <br />ed a report dated December 4, 1979, together with attachments <br />from the Director of Planning and Community Development, regard- <br />ing the proposed General Plan Amendment; and <br /> <br />the City Council held a public hearing with respect to the <br />General Plan Amendment at which time any member of the public <br />was offered the opportunity to address the City Council on <br />said amendment; and <br /> <br />after the close of the public hearing the City Council <br />deliberated upon the proposed amendment considering the <br />information set forth in the staff reports and attachments <br />thereto, as well as the information contained in the ini- <br />tial study leading to the Negative Declaration for said <br />project; and <br /> <br />a motion to approve the application of Iver Hilde and Walter <br />R. Wallner for an amendment to the General Plan which would <br />change the land use designation of the one acre parcel of <br />land on the east side of Santa Rita Road immediately north <br />of Fire Station from "High Density Residential" to "Commercial <br />and Offices", was defeated by Councilmembers Butler, Kephart, <br />Wood and Mayor Brandes voting "No", with Councilmember Mercer <br />voting "Aye", and the application was, therefore, deemed denied. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. The City Council disapproves the application of Iver Hilde <br /> and Walter R. Wallner for an amendment to the Land Use Element <br /> of the General Plan which would change the land use designation <br /> of the one acre parcel of land on the east side of Santa Rita <br /> Road immediately north of Fire Station from "High Density Resi- <br /> dential" to "Commercial and Offices". <br /> <br />III <br /> <br /> <br />
