CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 79-241 A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE FOURTH ~j~NDMENT OF AGREEMENT BETWEEN KENNEDY ENGINEERS, INC. AND CITY RELATED TO ENGINEERING SERVICES FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF SUNOL INTERCEPTOR SEWER LINE WHEREAS, the City and Kennedy Engineers, Inc. entered into an agreement dated January 7, 1974, for engineering services related to the construction of an interceptor sewer line from City's Sunol sewage treatment plant to the Dublin San Ramon Services District (Valley Community Services District); and WHEREAS, at its meeting of November 27, 1979, the City Council received a report from the Director of Public Works and Utilities dated November 20, 1979, that Kennedy Engineers has requested an amendment to the agreement for increased fees on this project due to cost overruns and added work; and WHEREAS , the added work is sewer line replacement at the Sunol Plant and a water line to each of the two pump stations, and funds in the amount of $35,000 were included in the Fiscal Year 1979-80 Budget for the two water lines; and WHEREAS, the Director of Public Works and Utilities recommended that the proposed amendment to the agreement be approved; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1o Approves the proposed Fourth Amendment to the agreement between the City of Pleasanton and Kennedy Engineers dated January 7, 1974 for engineering services related to the construction of an interceptor sewer line from the Sunol sewage treatment plant to the Valley Community Services District. Section 2. Authorizes the execution of the proposed Fourth Amendment to Agreement by the Mayor. Section 3. This resolution shall become effective immediately.
