CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 80-19 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING EXTENSION OF TIME LIMITS IN CITY- <br />WILLOW WEST AGREE}~NT DATED JULY 24, 1979 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />on July 24, 1979, an agreement was entered into between the <br />City of Pleasanton and Willow West Properties for the purpose <br />of making the .5 mgd non-retail commercial and industrial <br />capacity available by constructing the necessary facilities <br />with private resources; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />a condition of the agreement required Willow West to have <br />contracts for environmental and engineering studies within <br />90 days and preliminary design and environmental studies <br />completed within one (1) year; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />on October 9, 1979, Council approvedextending time limits by <br />an additional 90 days to January 24, 1980 for retaining environ- <br />mental and engineering consultants as required by theagreement; <br /> <br />at its meeting of January 22, 1980, the City Council <br />received a report from the City Manager dated January 14, 1980, <br />recommending that the time limit for retaining engineers <br />and environmental consultants be extended for 120 days from <br />January 24, 1980; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. Approves extending the time limit for retaining engineers <br /> and environmental consultants as set forth in Section II, A <br /> and B of the agreement between the City and Willow West <br /> Properties for 120 days from January 24, 1980, to and includ- <br /> ing May 23, 1980. <br /> <br />Section 2.
