CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 80-15 <br /> <br />APPROVING THE NOTICE OF A GENERAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION <br />FOR COUNCILMEMBERS AND CITY TREASURER TO BE HELD APRIL <br />8, 1980, AND ADOPTING REBUTTAL PROCEDURES FOR MEASURES <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council at its meeting of January 8, 1980, <br />received a report from the Assistant to the City Man- <br />ager dated January 2, 1980, together with a Notice of <br />Election, regarding a General Municipal Election to <br />be held in the City of Pleasanton on Tuesday, April 8, <br />1980; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section <br /> <br />1o Approves the Notice of Election to be published calling <br />for a General Municipal Election to be held in the City of <br />Pleasanton on Tuesday, April 8, 1980, at which election <br />three councilmembers and a City Treasurer are to be elected. <br /> <br />Section 2. Pursuant to Elections Code §5014.5(b), the City Council <br /> adopts the rebuttal procedures of Elections Code §5014.5(a) <br /> if any such measures are presented on subsequent ballots. <br /> <br />Section 3.
