CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 80-34 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING A NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR AN <br />APPLICATION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION TO REZONE AN <br />APPROXIMATELY 3.2 ACRE SITE LOCATED ON THE NORTH SIDE <br />OF BLACK AVENUE BETWEEN HARVEST ROAD AND CRESTLINE <br />ROAD FROM THE RM-2500 (MULTIPLE RESIDENTIAL, 17 UNITS <br />PER ACRE) DISTRICT TO THE RM-4000 (MULTIPLE RESIDENTIAL, <br />11 UNITS PER ACRE) DISTRICT <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council, at its meeting of February 11, 1980 <br />received a proposed negative declaration for an applica- <br />tion of the Planning Cor~nission to rezone an approximately <br />3.2 acre site located on the north side of Black Avenue <br />between Harvest Road and Crestline Road from the RM-2500 <br />(Multiple Residential, 17 units per acre) District to the <br />~-4000 (Multiple Residential, 11 units per acre) District <br />(hereinafter referred to as the Project); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS , <br /> <br />staff has determined that the proposed rezoning is a <br />project for the purposes of the California Environmental <br />Quality Act; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />an Initial Study done pursuant to the Environmental Impact <br />Guidelines and Procedures adopted by the City Council of <br />the City of Pleasanton by Resolution No. 77-66 was prepared <br />for the Project; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council, at its meeting of February 11, 1980, also <br /> received that Initial Study dated December 6, 1979; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />each member of the City Council had a copy of Resolution <br />No. 77-66 at the time of considering the proposed Negative <br />Declaration and Initial Study; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the public was afforded an opportunity to comment on the <br />proposed environmental assessment, which had been published <br />in the Pleasanton Times, a newspaper of general circulation; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council is aware of the provisions of the City's <br />Guidelines and Processing Procedures for the evaluation of <br />projects and the preparation of Environmental Impact Report <br />as they pertain to requirements for Negative Declarations <br />and Environmental Impact Reports. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section <br /> <br />1.
