CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 80-32 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING COMPENSATION FOR ELECTION <br />WORKERS AND RENTAL FEES FOR POLLING PLACES FOR APRIL <br />8, 1980 MUNICIPAL ELECTION. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />a Municipal Election to fill the offices of 3 Council- <br />members and a City Treasurer will be held on April 8, <br />1980; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />it is necessary to compensate those persons who have <br />agreed to serve as Precinct Officers for the April 8, <br />1980, election, as well as to compensate those persons <br />who are allowing their residences to be used as polling <br />places; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council, at their meeting February 11, 1980, <br />received a report from the Assistant to the City Manager <br />recormnending pay rates and fees; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES <br />RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. Compensation for Election Officers shall be as follows: <br /> <br />Inspectors <br />Judges <br />Clerks <br /> <br />$34.00 per day <br />$30.00 per day <br />$30.00 per day <br /> <br />Inspector Training Class <br /> <br />$ 4.00 per participant <br /> <br />Rental fees for polling places are as follows: <br /> <br />With Furniture <br />Without Furniture <br /> <br />$25.00 <br />$20.00 <br /> <br />Section 2.
