CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 80-59 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING A REQUEST FROM THE PLEASANTON <br />CHAMBER OF COMMERCE FOR PARTICIPATION BY THE CITY IN <br />THE COST OF PUBLISHING A COLOR BROCHURE ABOUT THE <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the Pleasanton Chamber of Commerce is planning to develop, <br />and publish a brochure which will show the business areas, <br />in Pleasanton, the City Hall, shopping malls, recreation <br />areas, and the relation of Pleasanton to the greater Bay <br />Area with a number of pictures and graphics; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council, at its meeting of March 11, 1980, received <br />a request from the Chamber of Cormnerce for participation by <br />the City in the cost of publishing the brochures and a report <br />from the City Manager James Walker recommending approval of <br />the request; and <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. Approves participation by the City of Pleasanton in the <br /> cost of printing an informational color brochure about <br /> Pleasanton in an amount not to exceed $3500 but allocation <br /> of this money is not to be made until after the June elec- <br /> tion when it is determined if additional sewer capacity of <br /> 500,000 gallons will be available for industrial and com- <br /> mercial development. <br /> <br />Section 2.
