CITY C~ONCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASA~TON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 80-57 A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE AGREEMENT AND GROUND LEASE WITH PCAC FOR CULTURAL ARTS BUILDING LAND WHEREAS, the Pleasanton Cultural Arts Council proposed to undertake the financing and construction of a multi-purpose complex to serve Pleasanton and the Tri-Valtey Area (Livermore- Amador Valley); and WHEREAS, the Pleasanton Cultural Arts Council asked the City Council to sell a portion of the Civic Center site for uses as the future location of a cultural arts facility; and WHEREAS, the City Council approved the request of the Pleasanton Cultural Arts Council (PCAC) and directed the City Manager and City Attorney to meet with the representative of the PCAC and prepare an appropriate agreement; and WHEREAS, the City Council at its meeting of March 11, 1980, received a report dated March 6, 1980, and reviewed an agreement and ground lease with the Pleasanton Cultural Arts Council for Cultural Arts building land. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Approves the Agreement and Ground Lease Agreement with the Pleasanton Cultural Arts Council, as amended relative to reserving adequate sewer capacity and further considera- tion of a reciprocal parking agreement, relative to use of land at the Civic Center site for a Cultural Arts Building. Section 2. Authorizes appropriate City officials to execute the agreement and ground lease. Section 3. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption.
