CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 80-55 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING A NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR THE <br />APPEAL OF CORINNE MAVRIDIS OF A DECISION OF THE DESIGN <br />REVIEW BOARD DENYING HER APPLICATION FOR DESIGN REVIEW <br />APPROVAL FOR A 1700 SQUARE FOOT BUILDING TO BE CONSTRUC- <br />TED IMMEDIATELY BEHIND THE EXISTING COMMERCIAL DEVELOP- <br />MENT LOCATED AT 614-625 MAIN STREET (CASE Z-79-192) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council, at its meeting of March 11, 1980, received <br />a proposed negative declaration for the appeal of Corinne <br />Mavridis of a decision of the Design Review Board denying <br />her application for the Design Review approval for a 1700 <br />square foot building to be constructed immediately behind <br />the existing commercial development located at 614-625 Main <br />Street (CASE Z-79-192) (hereinafter referred to as the Pro- <br />ject); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />staff has determined that the proposed project and applica- <br />tion for Design Review approval is a project for the purposes <br />of the California Environmental Quality Act; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />an Initial Study done purusant to the Environmental Impact <br />Guidelines and Procedures adopted by the City Council by <br />Resolution No. 77-66 was prepared for the Project; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council, at its meeting of March 11, 1980, also <br /> received that Initial Study dated January 16, 1980; and <br /> <br />~tEREAS <br /> <br />each member of the City Council had a copy of Resolution <br />No. 77-66 at the time of considering the proposed Negative <br />Declaration and Initial Study; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS <br /> <br />the public was afforded an opportunity to comment on the <br />proposed environmental assessment, which had been published <br />in the Pleasanton Times, a newspaper of general circulation; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS <br /> <br />the City Council is aware of the provisions of the City's <br />Guidelines and Processing Procedures for the evaluation of <br />projects and the preparation of Environmental Impact Report <br />as they pertain to requirements for Negative Declarations <br />and Environmental Impact Reports. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. The City Council determines that the proposed Project <br /> would not have any significant adverse effect on the en- <br /> vironment and therefore no Environmental Impact Report shall <br /> be prepared. <br /> <br />/// <br /> <br /> <br />
