CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 80-73 <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING A NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR THE <br />APPLICATION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION TO REZONE THOSE <br />SITES LOCATED ON THE NORTH SIDE OF VINEYARD AVENUE <br />WHICH ARE FULLY DEVELOPED AS APART}{ENT PROJECTS FROM <br />THE RM-4000 (MULTIPLE RESIDENTIAL, 11 UNITS PER ACRE) <br />DISTRICT TO THOSE ZONING DISTRICTS UNDERWHICH THE SITES <br />WERE DEVELOPED <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council, at its meeting of March 25, 1980, <br />received a proposed negative declaration for an appli- <br />cation by the Planning Commission to rezone those sites <br />located on the north side of.Vineyard Avenue which are <br />fully developed asapartmentlprojects from the RM-4000 <br />(Multiple Residential, 11 units per acr~)'District to <br />those zoning districts under which the sites were <br />developed (hereinafter referred to as the Project); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />staff has determined that the proposed application is <br />a project for the purposes of the California Environ- <br />mental Quality Act; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />an Initial Study done pursuant to the Environmental Impact <br />Guidelines and Procedures adopted by the City Council of <br />the City of Pleasanton by Resolution No. 77-66 was prepared <br />for the Project; and <br /> <br />V~EREAS the City Council, at its meeting of March 25, 1980 also <br /> received that Initial Study dated March 12, 1980; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS <br /> <br />each member of the City Council had a copy of Resolution <br />No. 77-66 at the time of considering the proposed Negative <br />Declaration and Initial Study; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS <br /> <br />the public was afforded an opportunity to comment on the <br />proposed environmental assessment, which had been published <br />in the Pleasanton Times, a newspaper of general circulation; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS <br /> <br />the City Council is aware of the provisions of the City's <br />Guidelines and Processing Procedures for the evaluation of <br />projects and the preparation of the Environmental Impact <br />Report as they pertain to requirements for Negative Dec- <br />larations and Environmental Impact Reports. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. The City Council determines that the proposed application <br /> by the Planning Commission to rezone those sites located on <br /> the north side of Vineyard Avenue, which are fully developed <br /> as apartment projects, from the RM-4000 (Multiple Residential <br /> <br />III <br /> <br /> <br />
