CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 80-71 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING A NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR THE <br />APPLICATION OF MERLE TELFORD FOR DESIGN REVIEW APPROVAL <br />FOR A COMMERCIAL/OFFICE COMPLEX CONSISTING OF THREE (3) <br />BUILDINGS CONTAINING A TOTAL OF 16,653 SQUARE FEET TO <br />BE LOCATED AT 235 MAIN STREET <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council, at its meeting of March 25, 1980 received <br />a proposed negative declaration for the application for <br />Design Review approval for a commercial/office complex <br />consisting of three (3) buildings containing a total of <br />16,653 square feet to be located at 235 Main Street (here- <br />inafter referred to as the Project); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />staff has determined that the proposed application is a <br />project for the purposes of the California Environmental <br />Quality Act; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />an Initial Study done pursuant to the Environmental Impact <br />Guidelines and Procedures adopted by the City Council of <br />the City of Pleasanton by Resolution No. 77-66 was prepared <br />for the Project; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council, at its meeting of March 25, 1980, also <br /> received that Initial Study dated February 27, 1980; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />each member of the City Council had a copy of Resolution <br />No. 77-66 at the time of considering the proposed Negative <br />Declaration and Initial Study; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the public was afforded an opportunity to comment on the <br />proposed environmental assessment, which had been published <br />in the Pleasanton Times, a newspaper of general circulation; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS , <br /> <br />the City Council is aware of the provisions of the City's <br />Guidelines and Processing Procedures for the evaluation of <br />projects and the preparation of Environmental Impact Report <br />as they pertain to requirements for Negative Declarations <br />and Environmental Impact Reports. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. The City Council determines that the proposed application <br /> for Design Review approval for a commercial/office complex <br /> consisting of three (3) buildings containing a total of <br /> 16,653 square feet to be located at 235 Main Street would <br /> not have any significant adverse effects on the environment <br /> and therefore no Environmental Impact Report shall be pre- <br /> pared. <br /> <br />// <br /> <br /> <br />
