CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 80-68 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION SETTING A PUBLIC HEARING REGARDING THE <br />ADOPTION OF THE 1979 UNIFORM BUILDING, PLUMBING <br />MECHANICAL, HOUSING AND FIRE CODES AND THE 1978 <br />NATIONAL ELECTRICAL CODE <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Uniform Building, Plumbing, Housing, Fire, Mechanical <br /> and Electrical Codes have been recently revised; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />it is desirable for the City of Pleasanton to adopt these <br />codes by reference and modify the sections of the Ordinance <br />Code of the City of Pleasanton in order to comply with the <br />Uniform Codes; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, in order to adopt these codes by reference it is necessary <br /> to notice and hold a public hearing regarding the same; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. The City Council hereby sets April 22, 1980, at 8:00 p.m., <br /> in the Council Chambers in the Alameda County Fairgrounds <br /> Cafeteria, as the time and place to hold a public hearing <br /> to consider the adoption by reference of the 1979 Editions <br /> of the Uniform Building Code, the Uniform Plumbing Code, the <br /> Uniform Mechanical Code, the Uniform Housing Code, the Uniform <br /> Fire Code, and the 1978 Edition of the National Electrical Code. <br /> <br />Section 2.
