CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 80-91 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR <br />IMPROVEMENT OF WEST ANGELA STREET AT WESTERN PACIFIC <br />RAILROAD AND ANGELA STREET AT SOUTHERN PACIFIC TRANS- <br />PORTATION COMPANY, PROJECT 79-2, AND AUTHORIZING <br />CALLING FOR BIDS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the Director of Engineering Services by his report dated <br />April 14, 1980, advised the City Council that plans and <br />specifications have been completed and reviewed by staff <br />for improvement of West Angela Street at Western Pacific <br />Railroad and Angela Street at Southern Pacific Transpor- <br />tation Company, Project 79-2, and recommended calling for <br />bids; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council at their meeting of April22, 1980, <br />reviewed the report of the Director of Engineering <br />Services dated April 14, 1980, relating to this pro- <br />ject; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. Approves the plans and specifications for improvement <br /> of West Angela Street at Western Pacific Railroad and <br /> Angela Street at Southern Pacific Transporation Company, <br /> Project 79-2, and authorizes calling for bids, as recom- <br /> mended by the Director of Engineering Services in his <br /> report dated April 14, 1980. <br /> <br />Section 2. Authorizes the calling of bids in the above project. <br /> <br />Section 3. The resolution shall become effective immediately upon <br /> its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED ON APRIL 22, 1980, BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers Mohr, Butler and Mayor Mercer <br /> <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Councilmembers Kephart and Wood <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> R.
