CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 80-108 <br /> <br />APPROVING REQUEST FOR CONNECTION TO CITY SEWER SYSTEM <br />BY LYLE STEARNS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />at its meeting of April 22, 1980, the City Council received <br />a report from the Director of Engineering Services that Mr. <br />Lyle Stearns has indicated his desire to enter into a Sani- <br />tary Sewer Facilities and Pre-annexation Agreement in order <br />that he would be able to connect to the City's Sanitary <br />Sewer System and abandon the septic tank now serving his <br />residence located at 3545 Vine Street; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a letter from the County Health Care Services confirms <br /> both health and safety hazards. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. In order to resolve ~thi's problem, the City Council <br /> authorizes connection of Mr. Stearns' parcel to the City <br /> sewer system with an agreement to annex at some future <br /> date as has been done with other properties in that area. <br /> <br />Section 2~ This resolution shall become effective immediately upon <br /> its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED ON APRIL 22, 1980, BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Butler, Mohr and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Councilmembers - Kephart and Wood <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />By Doris George, Deputy City Clerk <br /> <br />APPROVED AS TO FORM: <br /> <br /> ne, City Attorney <br /> <br /> <br />
