CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 80-103 <br /> <br />AUTHORIZING THE CITY ATTORNEY TO HIRE A SUMMER LAW CLERK <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />at the City Council meeting of April 14, 1980, the Mayor <br />presented a letter from the City Attorney, dated April 14, <br />1980, requesting authorizaiton to hire a summer law clerk <br />to assist in processing some of the back log of work in the <br />office of the City Attorney; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. Authorizes the City Attorney to hire a summer law clerk <br /> for the months of June, 1980 through August, 1980, at an <br /> amount not to exceed $3,000 for the three months. <br /> <br />Section 2. This resolution shall become effective irmnediately upon <br /> its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED ON APRIL 22, 1980, BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Butler, Mohr and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Councilmembers - Kephart and Wood <br />ABSTAIN: None <br />ATTEST ~ <br /> ~TH R.
