CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 80-128 <br /> <br />APPROVING THE MOIRE OF THE VIZZOLINI HOUSE TO BE USED <br />AS INTERIM ADDITIONAL POLICE DEPARTMENT SPACE <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there is a shortage of space in the patrol division of <br /> the Police Department; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />in addition to the need for sufficient space in which to <br />perform certain of their activities, the patrol division <br />is in need of separate restroom facilities; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council at it's meeting of May 13, 1980, received <br />and approved a report dated May 6, 1980, from the Assistant <br />to the City Manager regarding the Police Department Building <br />needs and presenting alternative solutions; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the department's vehicles and the officer's vehicles have <br />been subject to vandalism and are in need of a more secure <br />parking area. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. Approves Alternate 2 of Staff Report 80:123, to permanently <br /> relocate the Vizzolini House at 391 St. Mary's Street to the <br /> turfed area behind the Police Department at an estimated cost <br /> of $47,000.00 for relocating and remodeling. <br /> <br />Section 2. Authorizes the City staff to fence the Police Department's <br /> parking lot. <br /> <br />Section 3.
