CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 80-125 A RESOLUTION OVERRULING OBJECTIONS AND PROCEEDING WITH ABATEMENT OF WEEDS, RUBBISH OR REFUSE UPON OR IN FRONT OF CERTAIN DESCRIBED PROPERTIES WITHIN THE CITY OF PLEASANTON WHICH CONSTITUTE PUBLIC NUISANCES WHEREAS, the City Council at its meeting of March 25, 1980, adopted Resolution No. 80-68 (declaring that weeds, rubbish or refuse upon or in front of certain described properties within the City of Pleasanton constitute public nuisances and that the same shall be abated, and setting a public hearing in regard to same); and WHEREAS, said Resolution No. 80-68 was adopted pursuant to the provisions of Government Code Sections 39501-39588; and WHEREAS, said Resolution designated April 22, 1980, at the hour of 8:00 p.m., at the Pleasanton City Council Chambers, Alameda County Fairgrounds Cafeteria, as the time, date and place to hear and consider objections to the abatement and removal of weeds, rubbish or refuse upon or in front of certain described properties within the City of Pleasanton more particulary set forth in Exhibit A to Resolution No. 80-68; and WHEREAS, due to improper notice to the owners of the property, the public hearing was continued; and WHEREAS, on May 13, 1980, the City Council held a public hearing to hear and consider objections to the abatement and removal of weeds, rubbish or refuse upon or in front of certain described properties within the City of Pleasanton. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. On March 25, 1980, the City Council elected to proceed under the provisions of Government Code Sections 39501-39588 and did declare as a public nuisance all weeds, rubbish or refuse upon or in front of certain described properties within the City of Pleasanton as more particularly set forth in Exhibit A to Resolution No. 80-68. Section 2. The City Council fixed May 13, 1980, at the hour of 8:00 p.m., at Alameda County Fairgrounds Cafeteria, as the time, date and place for hearing all objections to the proposal of removal of weeds, rubbish or refuse, and the Fire Prevention Officer was charged with the responsibility to perform the duties imposed by Government Code Sections 39560-39588, and he did prepare notices to destroy weeds and remove rubbish and refuse, and did in the time and
