CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 80-159 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 76-79 (ESTABLISHING <br />TRAFFIC REGULATIONS FOR CITY STREETS) BY AMENDING SECTION <br />6 (NO PARKING ZONES), RELATING TO PARKING ON OLD HOPYARD <br />ROAD <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council, on April 12, 1976, adopted Resolution No. <br />76-79 (A Resolution Establishing Traffic Regulations for <br />City Streets); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has from time to time amended Resolution <br /> No. 76-79; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />at its meeting of June 10, 1980, the City Council received <br />and discussed a report dated June 3, 1980, from the City <br />Manager related to the parking of automobiles on Old Hopyard <br />Road. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. The City Council determines that the parking of auto- <br /> mobiles on Old Hopyard Road would not consititute a safety <br /> hazard or maintenance problem, and hereby amends Section 6 <br /> (No Parking Zones) of Resolution No. 76-79 (A Resolution <br /> Establishing Traffic Regulations for City Streets) by <br /> amending the following subsection: <br /> <br />6o-1 Old Hopyard Road. Including the circle for <br /> trucks and trailers over 20 ft. in length. <br /> <br />Section 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon <br /> its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED ON JUNE 10, 1980, BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br />Butler, Kephart, Mohr, Wood and Mayor Mercer <br /> <br /> CER, MAYORH <br /> <br />By Doris George, Deputy City Clerk <br /> <br />APPROVED AS TO FORM: <br /> <br /> <br />
