CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 80-154 <br /> <br />AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO SIGN A LETTER TO THE ALAMEDA <br />COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS REGARDING REZONING OF <br />COUNTY PROPERTY ON VINEYARD AVENUE <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />~. Lewis Nevis has requested that the County rezone the <br />15.2 acres of land on Vineyard Avenue in the County <br />approximately .2 of a mile outside the Pleasanton City <br />Limit Boundary from Agricultural to Residential providing <br />three 2 1/2 acre parcels and one 7 1/2 acre parcel which <br />would create three new residential building sites on the <br />15.2 acre site; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the County Planning Commission has denied the rezoning and <br />Mr. Nevis plans to appeal to the Alameda County Board of <br />Supervisors; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the County Planning staff has asked the City staff to <br /> comment on the request; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at it meeting of June 10, 1980, the City Council received <br /> a report from the City Manager dated June 3, 1980. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section <br /> <br />1. Authorizes the Mayor to sign a letter to be sent to the <br />Board of Supervisors stating that the City does not object <br />to the rezoning of 15.2 acres of land on Vineyard Avenue <br />in the County approximately .2 of a mile outside Pleasanton <br />City Limit Boundary from Agricultural to Residential. <br /> <br />Section 2.
