CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 80-175 <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 80-96 (A RESOLUTION <br /> AGREEING TO THE EXCHANGE OF PROPERTY TAX REVENUE FOR <br /> A~NEXATIO~-NO. 76 (SUNOL BOULEVARD)) <br /> <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON HEREBY RESOLVES TO AMEND <br />RESOLUTION NO. 80-96 (A RESOLUTION AGREEING TO THE EXCHANGE OF PRO- <br />PERTY TAX REVENUE FOR ANNEXATION NO. 76 (SUNOL BOULEVARD)) IN ITS <br />ENTIRETY AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br /> Section 99 of the Revenue and Taxation Code (AS 8) provides, <br /> among other things.° that no local agency jurisdictional <br /> change can be,~om~leted without the agencies affected by <br /> such change,first having agreed upon an exchange of property <br />· tax revenue'between and among the affected agencies; and <br /> <br /> th~.IAlameda County Mayors'Conference, the City of <br /> Pleasanton (Resolution No. 80-74) and the Alameda County <br /> Board of Supervisors (Resolution No. 186574) have agreed to <br /> a method for equitably distributing the property taxes; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />such specific annexation needs a resolution from both the <br />City and County agreeing to the exchange of property tax <br />revenues for the annexation to be completed and filed with <br />the State; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. That for the following annexation by the City of <br /> Pleasanton, which will be first effective for the fiscal <br /> year following the filing of the Certificate of Completion <br /> with the State Board of Equalization providing the filing <br /> occurs prior to December 31 of the preceding year, the <br /> Auditor-Controller of the County of Alameda shall be directed <br /> to cause an exchange of property tax revenues pursuant to the <br /> provisions of paragraphs Nos. (1 or 2) and 3 of the attached <br /> City/County Agreement: <br /> <br />Annexation No. 76 (Sunol Boulevard). <br /> <br />Section 2. That the property tax proceeds accruing for the Structural <br /> Fire Fund shall be transferred to the City of Pleasanton. <br /> <br />Section 3. This resolution shall become effective irmnediately upon <br /> its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />III <br /> <br /> <br />
