CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION N0. 80-172 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTIONAMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 80-93 (A RESOLUTION <br />AGREEING TO THE EXCHANGE OF PROPERTY TAX REVENUE FOR <br />ANNEXATION NO. 73 (~DDEN)) <br /> <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON HEREBY RESOLVES TO AMEND <br />RESOLUTION NO. 80-93 (A RESOLUTION AGREEING TO THE EXCHANGE OF PRO- <br />PERTY TAX REVENUE FOR ANNEY~TION NO. 73 (MADDEN)) IN ITS ENTIRETY <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />Section 99 of the Revenue and Taxation Code (AS 8) provides, <br />among other things, that no local agency jurisdictional <br />change can be completed without the agencies affected by <br />such change first having agreed upon an exchange of property <br />tax revenue between and among the affected agencies; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the Alameda County Mayors' Conference, the City of <br />Pleasanton (Resolution No. 80-74) and the Alameda County <br />Board of Supervisors (Resolution No. 186574) have agreed <br />to a method for equitably distributing the property taxes; <br />and <br /> <br />such specific annexation needs a resolution from both the <br />City and County agreein~ to the exchange of property tax <br />revenues for'tie anffex~tion to be completed and filed with <br />the State; /,' <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE~II~HE"CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS:!' <br /> <br />Section 1. That for the following annexation by the City of <br /> Pleasanton, which will be first effective for the fiscal <br /> year following the filing of the Certificate of Completion <br /> with the State Board of Equalization providing the filing <br /> occurs prior to December 31 of the preceding year, the <br /> Auditor-Controller of the County of Alameda shall be directed <br /> to cause an exchange of property tax revenues pursuant to the <br /> provisions of paragraphs Nos.(1 or 2) and 3 of the attached <br /> City Resolution #80-74 approving a method of distributing tax <br /> revenues: <br /> <br />Annexation No. 73 Joseph Madden property. <br /> <br />Section 2. That the exchange of special district property taxes is <br /> limited to the special districts listed; Stanle7 Boulevard, <br /> Pleasanton (C.S.Ao F-1965-3) Fire Protection District. <br /> <br />Section 3. That the property tax proceeds accruing for the <br /> Structural Fire Fund shall be transferred to the City <br /> of Pleasanton. <br />/// <br /> <br /> <br />
