EXHIBIT A TO RESOLUTION NO. 80-169 <br /> <br />To be informed of the duties of the office of stand-by <br />officer. Officers and employees of the local agency shall <br />provide each stand-by officer with a copy of this article. <br /> <br />To keep informed of the business and affairs of the local <br />agency to the extent necessary to fill the post completely. <br />For this purpose the local agency may arrange imformation <br />meetings and require attendance. <br /> <br />To immediately report ready for duty in the event of disasted <br />to the place and in the method previously designated by the <br />local agency. <br /> <br />To fill the post for which appointed when, because of disaster <br />in has become vacant. Stant-by officers No. 2 and 3 shall <br />substitute in succession for stand-by officer No. 1 in the <br />same way that said stand-by officer is substituted in place <br />of the regular officer. Stand-by officer shall serve until <br />the recovery of the regular officer or the election or <br />appointment of a new regular officer. (Stats. 1957, Ch. 1368). <br /> <br /> <br />
