CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON AIJ_MEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 80-195 A RESOLUTION CONFIRMING THE COST ACCOUNTING REPORT NUISANCE ABATEMENT WHEREAS, abatement of weeds upon or in front of property within the City of Pleasanton for those lots not abated voluntarily by the owners thereof has been satisfactorily completed consistent with the provisions of the Govern- ment Code relating thereto; and WHEREAS, the Fire Marshal of the City of Pleasanton has prepared, based upon information furnished by the City's contractor, a list of the costs on a per lot basis of abating weeds upon or in front of said lots; and WHEREAS, the City Council, at their meeting of July 22, 1980 reviewed the itemized list of costs, which had been previously posted outside the City Council Chambers consistent with the requirements of the Government Code. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF TMEICiTY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. The itemized list of the weed abatement costs for 1980 contained in the report of the Fire Marshal of the City of Pleasanton Fire Department dated July 22, 1980, is hereby confirmed. Section 2. The above costs of abatement are deemed by law to constitute a special assessment against and a lien upon the parcel of property, and will be added by the Treasurer-Tax Collector to the next regular tax bill for each parcel. Section 3. This resolution shall be effective immediately upon its final passage and adoption.
