CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 80-194 REVIEW OF BIDS AND AWARD OF CONTRACT FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF MISSION HILL PARK, PHASE I WHEREAS, the City prepared plans and specifications for the construction of Mission Hill Park, Phase I; and WHEREAS, pursuant to Government Code §37900, et seq., the City Engineering Services Department advertised for and received bids regarding this project; and WHEREAS, at the City Council meeting of July 22, 1980, the bid of Valley Crest Landscape in the amount of $74,200 was determined to be the lowest responsible bid for the project; and WHEREAS, this project was included with a budgeted amount of $56,000 in the 1980-81 Neighborhood Park Fund; and WHEREAS, at the meeting of July 22, 1980, the City Council received a report from the Director of the Department of Recreation and Human Resources dated July 15, 1980 recommending that the bid of Valley Crest Landscape be accepted, and the Neighborhood Park Fund budget be amended by reducing the Projected Fund Balance, June 30, 1981, by $18,200 leaving a Projected Fund Balance of $1,615, and increas- ing the appropriation to Mission Hill Park by $18,200 for a total appropriation of $78,200. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. The bid of Valley Crest Landscape in the amount of $74,200 for the construction of Mission Hill Park, Phase I, is hereby accepted by the City Council as the lowest responsible bid. Section 2. The amount budgeted fo~ this project in the 1980,-81 accordingly. Section 3. The appropriate City official is authorized to execute a contract with Valley Crest Landscape for the project specified above. Section 4. This resolution shall be effective immediately upon its final passage and adoption.
