CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 80-193 A RESOLUTION APPROVING A COOPERATIVE AGREEMENT BETWEEN CITY OF LIVERMORE, DUBLIN SAN RAMON SERVICES DISTRICT AND CITY OF PLEASANTON RE EXPANSION OF LAVWMA FACILITY WHEREAS the Livermore Amador Valley Water Management Agency (LAVWMA) Joint Powers Agreement provided for an additional 1 MGD sewer capacity in the LAVWMA Pipeline for industrial and non-retail commercial development; and WHEREAS LAVWMA has agreed to sell Livermore, Pleasanton, and Dublin San Ramon Services District additional capacity as indicated in the attached agreement; and WHEREAS certain modifications to the LAVWMA facilities may be required before the flow can be increased; and WHEREAS, in order to determine exactly what modifications may be necessary, a feasibility study should first be prepared and the necessary related environmental work completed; and WHEREAS, in order to avoid duplication of effort by the three agencies concerned, a cooperative agreement should be entered into to accomplish the work. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Approves the agreement between the City of Pleasanton, City of Livermore and Dublin San Ramon Services District relating to the cooperative effort in preparing a feasibility study and the necessary environmental work. Section 2. Authorizes the appropriate City officials to execute the contract. Section 3. This resolution shall be effective immediately upon its final passage and adoption.
