WHEREAS, <br /> <br /> CITY 3UNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEi .NTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 80-192 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 76-79 (ESTAB- <br />LISHING TRAFFIC REGULATIONS FOR CITY STREETS) BY <br />ADDING SUBSECTION 6f-3 RELATING TO NO PARKING ZONES <br />ON FOOTHILL ROAD. <br /> <br />the City Council on April 12, 1976, adopted Resolution <br />No. 76-79 (a resolution establishing traffic regulations <br />for City streets); and <br /> <br />~{EREAS, <br /> <br />Section 6 of Resolution No. 76-79 pertains to no parking <br />zones for vehicles on certain streets within the City limits <br />of Pleasanton; and <br /> <br />WIIEREAS, <br /> <br />at its meeting of June 18, 1980, the staff traffic com- <br />mittee discussed the problems of truck and teenager parking <br />on Foothill Road in front of the Laguna Vista subdivision; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />it was the recommendation of the staff traffic committee <br />that all vehicles be prohibited from parking on Foothill <br />Road in front of the Laguna Vista subdivision. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section <br /> <br />1. Resolution No. 76-79 (a resolution establishing traffic <br />regulations for City streets) is hereby amended by adding <br />Subsection 6f-3 to Section 6 (No Parking Zones) to read <br />as follows: <br /> <br /> 6f-3 - On the east side of Foothill Road in <br /> front of the Laguna Vista subdivision. <br /> <br />Section 2.
