CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 80-191 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AN AGREEMENT WITH ALAMEDA <br />COUNTY, CITY OF PLEASANTON AND ALAMEDA COUNTY FAIR <br />BOARD FOR SEWAGE RATES AND SERVICE TO THE FAIRGROUNDS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />at its meeting of July 22, 1980, the City Council <br />received a report dated July 17, 1980 from the City <br />Manager recormnending approval of an agreement between <br />the City of Pleasanton, Alameda County and the Alameda <br />County Fair Board relating to establishment of sewage <br />rates and service limits to the fairgrounds; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />Pleasanton plans to phase out the Sunol Treatment Plant <br />in September, which will invalidate the 1958 agreement <br />because sewage treatment service will henceforth be <br />provided by Dublin San Ramon Services District (DSRSD); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the attached agreement (Exhibit A) has been approved <br /> by the County of Alameda. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. Approves the agreement between the City of Pleasanton, <br /> Alameda County and Alameda County Fair Board relating <br /> to sewage treatment capacity and sewer service fees. <br /> <br />Section 2. Authorizes the appropriate City officials to execute <br /> the agreement. <br /> <br />Section 3. This resolution shall be effective immediately upon <br /> its final passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED ON JULY 22, 1980 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Butler, Kephart, Mohr, Wood and <br /> Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None ~~~ <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br />By Doris George, Deputy City Clerk <br /> <br /> APPROVED AS TO FORM <br /> <br />/.Harvey Levine, City Attorney <br /> <br /> <br />
