CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 80-190 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION ABANDONING THE OLD RIGHT-OF-WAY ALIGNMENT <br />OF BLACK AVENUE <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the Black Avenue right-of-way at the Hopyard Road <br />intersection was originally a straight alignment. <br />The street was subsequently built on a curved align- <br />ment as shown on Exhibit A; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the staff has determined that the old right-of-way is <br />no longer needed by the City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />there are no existing utility lines along the old <br />right of way; and <br /> <br />the City Council passed a resolution of intention <br />to abandon the old alignment of Black Avenue at the <br />July 8, 1980 Council meeting; and <br /> <br />a public hearing was held at which no one protested' <br />the abandonment of the old right-of-way. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. <br /> <br /> The old right-of-way of Black Avenue as shown on <br />Exhibit A attached hereto is abandoned by the City <br />of Pleasanton. <br /> <br />Section 2.
