CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 80-188 <br /> <br />DENIAL OF THE APPEAL OF MICHAEL SCHIANO REGARDING A <br />VARIANCE AT 5292 HUMMINGBIRD ROAD <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />Michael Schiano applied to the Board of Adjustment for <br />a variance to allow construction of a 6 ft. high fence <br />which would encroach into the required sideyard setback <br />of the property located at 5292 Hummingbird Road; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Board of Adjustment at its meeting of June 11, 1980 <br /> denied the variance requested; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Mr. Schiano appealed that denial to the City Council; <br /> and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council held a public hearing on July 22, 1980 <br />to consider the appeal. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. The City Council denies the appeal of Michael Schiano <br /> for a variance from the sideyard setback requirements. <br /> <br />Section 2. <br /> <br /> In denying this appeal, the City Council is unable <br />to make findings necessary to grant a variance from <br />the Pleasanton Ordinance Code. <br /> <br />Section 3.
