CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 80-183 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING A PARADE PERMIT FOR FOOTHILL <br />HIGH SCHOOL BAND BOOSTERS CLUB <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council at its meeting of July 8, 1980, received <br />a report from Assistant to the City Manager, Larry Miller, <br />regarding a parade application from the Foothill High <br />School Band Boosters Club; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the Foothill High School Band Booster Club has sponsored <br />an annual High School Marching Parade in Pleasanton the <br />last five years; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council deliberated on whether or not the City <br />should require Foothill Band's Booster Club to reimburse <br />the City for the City's expenses set forth above; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. Approves an application by Foothill High School Band <br /> Boosters Club for a parade to be held in the City of <br /> Pleasanton on October 25, 1980, as more particularly <br /> delineated in the report of the Assistant to the City <br /> Manager dated June 26, 1980, subject to all conditions <br /> set forth by the Police Department. <br /> <br />Section 2. The City budget for fiscal year 1980-81 is amended by <br /> allocating from the unallocated reserve approximately <br /> $1170.00 necessary to pay for the costs incurred in rela- <br /> tionship to the parade to be held by the Foothill High <br /> School Band Boosters Club on October 25, 1980. <br /> <br />Section 3.
