CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION N0. 80-182 A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF PLEASANTON AND THE PLEASANTON HOUSING AUTHORITY FOR THE KOTTINGER PLACE IMPROVEMENTS WHEREAS, at their meeting of July 8, 1980, the City Council received and reviewed a report dated July 7, 1980, from the Director of Planning and Community Development regarding the agreement between the City of Pleasanton and the Pleasanton Housing Authority; and WHEREAS, new Alameda County guidelines require that if a Housing and Community Development (HCD) project is not completed within a program year, the County will have the option to take back the unspent funds; and WHEREAS, since the program year ended June 30, 1980, there is a possibility of losing these funds; and WHEREAS, if the attached contract is approved, the project will be considered "ongoing" and that will allow the Housing Authority an additional six months to complete the improve- ments at Kottinger Place. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Approves the agreement between the City of Pleasanton and the Pleasanton Housing Authority describing the duties and services which must be performed by the City and Housing Authority in administering a project funded by the Housing and CommUnity Development program for Kottinger Place improvements, said agreement is attached as Exhibit A and by this reference made a part hereof. Section 2. Authorizes the appropriate City Officials to execute the above mentioned agreement. ~ection 3~ This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption.
