CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 80-220 A RESOLUTION APPROVING AN APPLICATION FOR THE CHAMBER OF COMMERCE HERITAGE DAYS BICYCLE RACES AND PARADE the City Council at its meeting of August 26, 1980, received a report dated August 18, 1980, from the Assistant to the City Manager, Lawrence Miller, regard- ing application from the Chamber of Commerce of the City of Pleasanton for a permit to sponsor a bicycle race beginning at 8:00 a.m. on September 21, 1980; and the Chamber of Commerce also requested a parade permit for a parade on September 27, 1980 beginning at 11:00 a.m. and ending approximately 12 noon. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: Approves an application by the Pleasanton Chamber of Commerce for a permit to sponsor a bicycle race on September 21, 1980, as more particularly delineated in the report of the Assistant to the City Manager dated August 18, 1980, subject to all conditions set forth by the police and fire departments. Section 2: Approves an application by the Pleasanton Chamber of Commerce for a permit to sponsor a parade on September 27, 1980 as more particularly delineated in the report of the Assistant to the City Manager dated August 18, 1980, subject to all conditions set forth by the police and fire departments. SectiOD 3: IT~e C/ity~bUdget for fiscal year 1980-81 is amended by allocating from the unallocated reserve approximately $810.00 necessary to pay for costs incurred in relation- ship to the above bicycle race and parade in the event said amount cannot be collected from the Chamber of Commerce. Section 4: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption.
