CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 80-218 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING A NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR A <br />CHANGE OF THE LAND USE DESIGNATION FOR A 4.4 ACRE <br />SITE LOCATED ON THE EAST SIDE OF FAIRLANDS DRIVE <br />IMMEDIATELY NORTH OF WEST LAS POSITAS BOULEVARD <br />FROM R-1-6500 (SINGLE-FAMILY RESIDENTIAL) TO PUD <br />(PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council, at its meeting of August 26, 1980, <br />received a proposed negative declaration for a change <br />of the land use designation for a 4.4 acre site located <br />on the east side of Fairlands Drive immediately north <br />of West Las Positas Boulevard from R-1-6500 (Single- <br />Family Residential) to PUD (Planned Unit Development); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />staff has determined that the proposed zoning change <br />is a project for the purposes of the California <br />E~vironmental Quality Act; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />an Initial Study done pursuant to the Environmental <br />Impact Guidelines and Procedures adopted by the City <br />Council of the City of Pleasanton by Resolution No. <br />77-66 was prepared for the Project; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council at its meeting of August 26, 1980 also <br /> received that Initial Study dated July 21, 1980; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />each member of the City Council had a copy of Resolution <br />No. 77-66 at the time of considering the proposed Nega- <br />tive Declaration and Initial Study; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the public was afforded an opportunity to comment on <br />the proposed environmental assessment, which had been <br />published in "THE TIMES", a newspaper of general circu- <br />lation; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council is aware of the provisions of the City's <br />Guidelines and Processing Procedures for the evaluation <br />of projects and the preparation of Environmental Impact <br />Reports as they pertain to requirements for Negative <br />Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The City Council determines that the proposed change <br /> of the land use designation for a 4°4 acre site located <br /> on the east side of Fairlands Drive immediately north <br /> <br /> <br />
