CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 80-218 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING A NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR A <br />GENERAL PLAN AMENDMENT TO CHANGE THE LAND USE DESIGNA- <br />TION FOR A 4.4 ACRE SITE LOCATED ON THE EAST SIDE OF <br />FAIRLANDS DRIVE IMMEDIATELY NORTH OF WEST LAS POSITAS <br />BOULEVARD FROM R-1-6500 (Single-Family Residential) <br />to PUD (Planned Unit Development) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />~]{ERF~S, <br /> <br />the City Council, at its meeting of August 26,1980, <br />received a proposed negative declaration for a General <br />Plan Amendment to change the land use designation for <br />a 4.4 acre site located on the east side of Fairlands <br />Drive immediately north of West Las Positas Boulevard <br />from R-1-6500 (Single-Family Residential) to PUD <br />(P~,anned Unit Development); and <br />sta~f~.~.as determined that the proposed General Plan <br />Amendment is a project for the purposes of the California <br />Environmental Quality Act; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />an Initial Study done pursuant to the Environmental <br />Impact Guidelines and Procedures adopted by the City <br />Council of the City of Pleasanton by Resolution No. <br />77-66 was prepared for the Project; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council at its meeting of August 26, 1980 also <br /> received that Initial Study dated July 21, 1980; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />each member of the Qity Council had a copy of Resolution <br />No. 77-66 at the ,ti~e of considering the proposed Negative <br />Declaration. a~d Inifial Study; and <br /> <br />the pubt{c was afforded an opportunity to comment on the <br />proposed environmental assessment, which had been published <br />in'the Valley Times, a newspaper of general circulation; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council is aware of the provisions of the City's <br />Guidelines and Processing Procedures for the evaluation <br />of projects and the preparation of Environmental Impact <br />Reports as they pertain to requirements for Negative <br />Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The City Council determines that the proposed General <br /> Plan Amendment to change the land use designated for a <br /> 4.4 acre site located on the east side of Fairlands Drive <br /> <br /> <br />
