CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 80-211 RESOLUTION APPROVING AGREEMENT WITH CH2M HILL CALIFORNIA, INC. WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton is a member of the Livermore- Amador Valley Water Management Agency, a joint powers agency; and WHEREAS, in the Joint Powers Agreement establishing the Livermore- Amador Valley Water Management Agency, the City of Pleasanton was guaranteed 500,000 gallons per day (GPD) of sewer export capacity for industrial and non-retail commercial use; and the Livermore-Amador Valley Water Management Agency agreed to provide an additional 500,000 gallons for the City of Livermore and projects in the Dublin-San Ramon Services District area (400,000 GPD to Livermore; 100,000 GPD to DSRSD); and WHEREAS, the City of Livermore and DSRSD and the City of Pleasanton have entered into a cooperative agreement wherein the City of Pleasanton is named as the lead agency for development of feasibility and environmental studies needed for the expansion of the LAVWMA pipeline; and WHEREAS, CH2M HILL is an engineering firm qualified to do the work required. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: Approves the attached agreement between the City of Pleasanton and CH2M Hill for providing said services. Section 2: Authorizes the appropriate City officials to execute the agreement. Section 3: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its final passage and adoption.
