CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAJ{EDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 80-210 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING JOINT POWERS AGREEMENT RELATING <br />TO RECLAMATION AND REUSE STUDY BY CH2M HILL <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the Livermore-Amador Valley Water Management Agency <br />(LAVWMA) undertook a study of water reclamation and <br />reuse in the Livermore-Amador Valley; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />as a result of litigation by Dublin San Ramon Services <br />District and LAVWMA, it was agreed that the Cities of <br />Pleasanton and Livermore would take over the study <br />and grant administration regarding reclamation and <br />reuse; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a Joint Powers Agency is recommended as the best <br /> successor to LAVWMA to handle the above grant. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Approves the agreement between the City of Pleasanton <br /> and the City of Livermore relating to the Joint Powers <br /> Agency which shall consist of two members from each <br /> City Council as its governing board. <br /> <br />Section 2: Authorizes the appropriate City officials to execute <br /> the agreement. <br /> <br />Section 3: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its final passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED ON AUGUST 12, 1980 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers Butler, Kephart, Mohr, Wood and <br /> Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None ~E <br />es R.
