CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 80-209 ... RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING PROCEDURE FOR PROCESSI%]G- GENERAL PLAN ~4ENDMENTS FOR 1980 WHEREAS, the City Council initiated a General Plan for forty-two (42) changes in the General Plan Land Use and Circulation Element on July 22, 1980; and the number of these General Plan changes would have significant environmental impacts and require prepara- tion of an environmental impact report; and WHEREAS, staff proposed that those projects for which a negative declaration could be filed be treated as a group; and WHEREAS, the staff recommends that the remaining General Plan changes requiring an environmental impact report be treated subsequently when the environmental impact process is complete; and WHEREAS, two additional General Plan changes have been requested which require immediate action by the City (the 82 acre Flying "J" property and the Valley Community Church property); NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: The group of General Plan changes requiring an environmental impact report are as shown on the attached Exhibit "A". Said changes to be reviewed under an environmental impact report prepared by the City of Pleasanton. Section 2: The group of General Plan changes requiring a negative declaration are as shown on Exhibit "B"~ Section 3: That those changes listed on Exhibit "B" shall be processed at the earliest possible date and treated as one proposed General Plan change. Section 4: The 82 acre Flying "J" change and Valley Community Church change shall be processed at the same time as those changes listed on Exhibit "B". Section 5: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its final passage and adoption.
