CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 80-206 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING RAP ALLOCATION FOR 1981 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council held a public hearing regarding the <br />number of residential units to allocate for building <br />in the year 1981; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council received public testimony and a staff <br />report concerning (a) the number of new units necessary <br />to grow per the General Plan growth rate policies, <br /> (b) sewage treatment capacity available for 1981, <br />(c) the history of past growth and authorized but <br />undeveloped units, (d) possible development arising <br />from exempt projects and/or litigation, (e) the <br />progress toward meeting the single family/multiple <br />residential housing mix policy of the General Plan, <br />and (f) the single family/multiple residential housing <br />mix contained in the DSRSD allocation priority schedules; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council, after due consideration of the above, <br />finds that allocating 500 units would meet the General <br />Plan growth policies for the year 1981; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council, in approving a one-time-only exemption <br />for 60 units in January 1980, resolved to reduce the <br />number of units approved in 1981, 1982, and 1983 by <br />20 units each, <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: That 480 units be allocated for development in 1981. <br /> <br />Section 2: That 48 of the above units be set aside for qualifying <br /> lower income projects. <br /> <br />Section 3: That of the remaining 432 units, two-thirds (2/3) <br /> shall be allocated for single family projects and <br /> one-third (1/3) for multiple residential unit projects. <br /> <br />Section 4: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its final passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED ON AUGUST 12, 1980 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE <br /> <br />AYES: <br />NOES: <br />ABSENT: <br />ABSTAIN: <br /> <br />Councilmembers - <br />Councilmembers - <br />None <br />None <br /> <br />Butler, Wood and Mayor Mercer <br />Kephart and Mohr <br /> <br /> <br />
