CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF pLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 80-240 A RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 76~79 (ESTABLISH- ING TRAFFIC REGULATIONS FOR CITY STREETS) BY AMENDING SECTIONS 13f-3 AND 13n-1 RELOCATING THE BUS STOPS WHEREAS, the City Council, on April 12, 1976, adopted Resolution No. 76-79 (AResolution Establishing Traffic Regulations for City Streets);and WHEREAS, the City Council has from time to time amended Resolution No. 76-79; and WHEREAS, citizens'requestes were presented to the Staff Traffic Committee to paint directional pavement arrows on Neal Street; and WHEREAS, to accomplish this it is recommended that the bus stop be relocated farther away from the intersection;and WHEREAS, due to increased traffic and congestion at the inter- section of First Street and Vineyard Avenue, it is recommended that the northbound bus stop be relocated to the northeast corner of First and Kottinger, which would free the right-turn lane and allow buses to merge into the through lane before the intersection. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: Resolution No. 76-79 (A Resolution Establishing Traffic Regulations for City Streets) is hereby amended by amending Section 13f-3 in its entirety as follows: "13f-3 On the easterly side of First Street from 20 feet northerly of the northerly curb return from Kottinger Avenue to 80 feet northerly from that return." Section 2: Resolution No. 76-79 (A Resolution Establishing Traffic Regulations for City Streets) is hereby amended by amending Section 13n-1 in its entirety as follows: "13n-1 On the southerly side of Neal Street from 67 feet westerly of the westerly curb return from First Street to 115 feet westerly from that return." Section 3: Staff is directed to paint directional arrows at the intersection of Neal and First Streets.
