CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 80-238 <br /> <br />APPROVING CLAIMS FOR THE MONTH OF AUGUST, 1980 <br />IN THE AMOUNT OF $1,037,948.72 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />at the City Council meeting of September 23, 1980, a <br />check register and Financial Report were presented to the <br />City Council signifying expenditures for the month of <br />August, 1980; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the claims contained therein were for approved functions <br />of the City of Pleasanton which are necessary and proper <br />expenses of the City; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Claims represented by Checks Nos. 028955-029270, 146- <br /> 147,326-327, 542-543, 729-731, and 1004-1005, dated <br /> from 8-15-80 to 8-29-80 in the total amount of <br /> $1,037,948.72 are hereby approved. <br /> <br />Section 2: The Financial Report dated August 31, 1980 has been <br /> reviewed and approved by the City Council. <br /> <br />Section 3: This resolution shall be effective immediately upon <br /> its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED ON SEPTEMBER 23, 1980 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers Butler, Kephart, Mohr, Wood and <br /> Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT:: None ~R~C.E~ <br />ames R. ~alker, Ci~y~Clerk ~ <br />By Doris George, Deputy City Clerk <br /> <br />APPROVED AS TO FORM <br /> <br />City Attorney <br /> <br /> <br />
