CITY A3UNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLE~NTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 80-257 RESOLUTION APPROVING QUITCLAIM OF SURFACE ENTRY RIGHTS AND ACCEPTING QUITCLAIM FOR SUBTERRANEAN WATER RIGHTS FOR PARCEL NO. 51 FROM DEAN MORRISON AND HUNTER H. MORRISON. WHEREAS, a Quitclaim Deed from City of Pleasanton to Dean Morrison and Hunter H. Morrison was presented for the approval of the Council for the purpose of extinguishing the surface entry rights for extraction of water in Parcel 51; and WHEREAS, a Quitclaim Deed from Dean Morrison and Hunter H. Morrison, Trustees under that certain Declaration of Trust, dated July 9, 1964 to the City of Pleasanton, quitclaiming subterranean water, without rights of surface entry, lying beneath Parcel 51, as more particularly described in the attachment to the Deed, was presented for review and approval by the City Council. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. The Quitclaim Deed from the City of Pleasanton to Dean Morrison and Hunter H. Morrison, Trustees under that Declaration of Trust, dated July 9, 1964, extinguishing surface entry rights for extraction of water in Parcel 51, is approved and the appropriate city officials are authorized to execute the same. Section 2. The Quitclaim Deed from Dean Morrison and Hunter H. Morrison, Trustees under that certain Declaration of Trust, dated July 9, 1964 to the City of Pleasanton, quitclaiming subterranean water, without rights of surface entry, is approved and accepted by the City Council. Section 3. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption.
