CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 80-245 RESOLUTION ~4ENDING RESOLUTION NO. 77-123 (ESTABLISHING FEES AND CHARGES FOR VARIOUS MUNICIPAL SERVICES OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON) SECTION III (RECREATION) IN ITS ENTIRETY ESTABLISHING A NEW SCHEDULE OF FEES AND CHARGES during the past two years the Recreation Department has made various adjustments in fees and charges to compensate for inflation and budgetary constraints; and WHEREAS, staff presented a report to the City Council dated September 15, 1980 outlining all services and programs of the Recreation Department, including non-resident fees and tennis court monitoring system. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: Section III (Recreation) of Exhibit A to Resolution No. 77-123 is amended in its entirety to read as indicated on the attached schedule~ Section 2: Residents shalr be defined as anyone living within the City of P~easanton property tax limits. Section 3: Non-resident program participants shall be charged an additional $3.00 per class or program. Section 4: Non-resident applicants shall pay an additional 30% beyond the basic Priority Group Four classification for building rental. Section 5: Authorizes a delay in implementing a tennis court monitoring system and complete research to determine if a reservation system could be developed that would not require a staff person to be at the courts. Section 6: Authorizes staff to adjust fees and charges up to 20% of the submitted fees and charges without resub- mitting the charges to Council for approval. Section 7: This resolution shall become effective i~mediately upon its passage and adoption. THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED ON SEPTEMBER 23° 1980 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE:
