CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 80-244 <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND AUTHORIZATION <br />TO PROCEED WITH CONSTRUCTION ON THE "STONERIDGE DRIVE <br />SOUNDWALL" AS PART OF ASSESSMENT DISTRICT 1974-4 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />at the August 26, 1980 Council meeting, plans were <br />presented to construct a soundwall along the south <br />side of Stoneridge Drive from the flood control channel <br />just west of Denker Drive easterly to Hopyard Road; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />after two residents requested the soundwall be extended <br />westerly along the rear property lines of all the homes, <br />the Council directed the Engineer of Work to study the <br />possibility of extending the fence; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the extension of the fence appears feasible as an 8 ft. <br />high, solid plywood and board fence which would match <br />the masonry soundwall in structural appearance and color. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Approves the plans and specifications and authorizes <br /> construction to proceed on the Stoneridge Drive Soundwall <br /> as part of Assessment District 1974-4. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption ..' <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED ON SEPTEMBER 23, 1980 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Butler, Kephart, Mohr0 Wood and Mayor <br /> Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None ~~ <br />mes R.
