CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 80-241 RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 76-79 (ESTABLISHING TRAFFIC REGULATIONS FOR CITY STREETS) BY ADDING SECTIONS 13v-7 and 13v-8 ESTABLISHING BUS STOPS ON VALLEY AVENUE AT GREENWOOD ROAD WHEREAS, wPaRF S, the City Council, on April 12, 1976, adopted Resolution No. 76-79 (A Resolution Establishing Traffic Regulations for City Streets); and the City Council has from time to time amended Resolution ilo. 76-74; and WHEREAS, the City has received a request from A. C. Transit to establish an additional bus stop on Valley Avenue at Greenwood Road; and WHEREAS, WHEREAS, Engineering and the Staff Traffic Committee have reviewed the location of the proposed stop and have no objections, however, it was noted that at the location of the west- bound stop, the passengers would have to get off and on in a dirt area, which could be a nuisance and be dangerous in the winter time; and to make the A. C. Transit buses more aCcesSible to the public, it is recommended tha~ this~bus stop be approved and that Field Services be directed to pave an asphalt concrete path from the sidewalk at the intersection to the bus stop. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: Resolution No. 76-79 (A Resolution Establishing Traffic Regulations for City Streets) is hereby amended by adding Sections 13v-7 and 13v-8 as follows: "13v-7 On the northerly side of Valley Avenue from 20 feet westerly of the westerly curb return from Greenwood Road to 80 feet westerly from that return. 13v-8 On the southerly side of Valley Avenue from 20 feet easterly of the easterly curb return from Greenwood Road to 70 feet easterly from that return."
