CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 80-275 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING A NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR A <br />CHANGE OF THE LAND USE DESIGNATION FOR A 2.54+ ACRE <br />SITE LOCATED AT THE SOUTHEAST CORNER OF FOOTHILL ROAD <br />AND STONERIDGE DRIVE FROM C-F(COMMERCIAL FREEWAY) <br />DISTRICT TO PUD-COMMERCIAL. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council, at its meeting of October 28, 1980, <br />received a. prop~sed negative declaration for a change <br />of the land hse designation for a 2.54+ acre site <br />located at the southeast corner of FoOthill Road and <br />Stoneridge Drive from C-F(Commercial Freeway) to PUD- <br />Commercial; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />staff has determined that the proposed zoning change <br />is a project for the purposes of the California <br />Environmental Quality Act; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />an Initial Study done pursuant to the Environmental <br />Impact Guidelines and Procedures adopted by the City <br />Council of the City of Pleasanton by Resolution No. <br />77-66 was prepared for the Project; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council at its meeting of October 28, 1980 also <br /> received that Initial Study dated August 29, 1980; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />each member of the City Council had a copy of Resolution <br />No. 77-66 at the time of considering the proposed Nega- <br />tive Declaration and Initial Study; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the public was afforded an opportunity to comment on <br />the proposed environmental assessment, which had been <br />published in "THE TIMES," a newspaper of general circula- <br />tion; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council is aware of the provisions of the City's <br />Guidelines and Processing Procedures for the evaluation <br />of projects and the preparation of Environmental Impact <br />Reports as they pertain to requirements for Negative <br />Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF TIM CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The City Council determines that the proposed change <br /> of the land use designation for a 2.54~ acre site located <br /> at the southeast corner of Foothill Road and Stoneridge <br /> Drive from C-F (Commercial Freeway) District to PUD- <br /> Commercial. <br /> <br /> <br />
