CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 80-264 RESOLUTION APPROVING A NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR APPROVAL OF THE DESIGN PLAN FOR THE BANK OF AMERICA BUILDING TO BE LOCATED AT 337 MAIN STREET WHEREAS, on September 23, 1980 the Council appealed a decision of the Design Review Board approving plans for a new Bank of America building proposed for 337 Main Street; and 'I~IEKEAS, the matter has been before the Board on three separate occasions commencing June 11, 1980 when the matter was continued to allow applicant to redesign the bank plans to achieve a plan more in keeping with the "heritage theme" of downtown Pleasanton; and WHEREAS, on September 16, 1980 the Board approved the revised plans essentially as submitted; and WHEREAS, WHEREAS, WHEREAS, an Initial Study done pursuant to the Environmental Impact Guidelines and Procedures adopted by the City Council of the City of Pleasanton by Resolution No. 77-66 was prepared for the project; and the City Council, at its.m~et~g of October 14, 1980 also received that In~h±~l Study dated June 3, 1980; and each member of the City Council had a copy of Resolution No. 77-66 at the time of considering the proposed Nega- tive Declaration and Initial Study; and WHEREAS, the public was afforded an opportunity to comment on the proposed environmental assessment; and WHEREAS, the City Council is aware of the provisions of the City's Guidelines and Processing Procedures for the evaluation of projects and preparation of Environmental Impact Reports as they pertain to requirements for Negative Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: The City Council determines that the proposed design plan for the Bank of America building at 337 Main Street would not have any significant adverse effects on the environment and therefore no Environmental Impact Report shall be prepared.
