CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 80-262 RESOLUTION APPROVING A NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR A GENERAL PLAN AMENDMENT TO CHANGE THE LAND USE DESIGNATION FOR A 2.3 ACRE SITE LOCATED ON THE NORTH SIDE OF THE DEL VALLE PARKWAY EAST OF HARVEST ROAD FROM "PUBLIC AND INSTITUTIONAL" TO "MEDIUM DENSITY RESIDENTIAL." WHEREAS, the City Council, at its meeting of October 14, 1980 received a proposed negative declaration for a General Plan Amendment to change the land use designation for a 2.3 acre site located on the north side of the Del Valle Parkway east of Harvest Road from "Public and Institutional" to "Medium Density Residential;" and WHEREAS, staff has determined that the proposed General Plan Amendment is a project for the purposes of the Califronia Environmental Quality Act; and WHEREAS, an Initial Study done pursuant to the Environmental Impact Guidelines and Procedures adopted by the City Council of the City of Pleasanton by Resolution No. 77-66 was prepared for the project; and WHEREAS, WHEREAS, the City Council at its meeting of October 14, 1980 also received that Initial Study .~d~.ted August 26, 1980; and ... '~ '~ ~ ' each member ..of ~he"'Ci~y Council had a copy of Resolution No. 77-65 at the time of considering the proposed Negative Declaration and Initial Study; and WHEREAS, the public was afforded an opportunity to comment on the proposed environmental assessment, which had been published in "The Valley Times," a newspaper of general circulation; and WHEREAS, the City Council is aware of the provisions of the City's Guidelines and Processing Procedures for the evaluation of projects and the preparation of Environmental Impact Reports as they pertain to requirements for Negative Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
